Erik B. Lutwin

I have been practicing for more than 20 years.   In that time, I have experience in representing individuals and corporations with their varied legal needs.  I have successfully represented clients at trial, arbitration, mediation and other proceedings in cases involving everything from trip and fall cases, police brutality, wrongful arrest, medical malpractice, wrongful death, divorce, and commercial litigation.

For several years, up until his passing in 2017, I had the privilege to be partners with a lawyer with about 50 years of experience, my father, Joel Lutwin.  Working with him, I continued to act as a litigator but also became familiar with drafting wills, handling divorce cases, the basics of representing a criminal defendants, dealing with employment discrimination, pre-nuptual agreements, insurance disputes, real estate litigation, the needs of small but innovative businesses like documentary film makers and clothing line manufacturers.  

As outside counsel to several well known insurance companies and large enterprises, I have gained a wealth of experience and skill.  I have experience in a broad range of areas, having worked both as a corporate lawyer and as a litigator.
